Amaryllis : Day 1

recently, a colleague of mine went for a european tour and she bought me an amaryllis bulb. i brought the bulb home and put it on my computer table and i thought, i shd give it to my mom coz she loves gardening and flowers. plus, i've read the planting instruction on the box and it says, "initially 21C/70F is ideal, afterwards, slightly cooler" so, tambunan shd be the right place to plant this coz the weather there is "slightly cooler" than kk. but my father wont be back for another 10 days so... i totally forgot about the bulb. after about a week, i tried to open the box to see what the bulb look like. to my surprise, two stems had actually grown out of the bulb! inside the box! on top of my computer table! i guess i had no choice, i had to plant the bulb myself. luckily, i found an empty flower pot.

this is my first attempt on planting a flower, hopefully, it'll flourish and bloom...
